Summer Teaching Assistant Training Program

Our proprietary Assistant Teacher Training program provides dance students interested in becoming assistant teachers or teachers in our school, with practical in class & theoretical instruction from our Senior Professional Instructors.
Candidates are evaluated for consideration as assistant trainees in the regular school year subject to openings.

Please note:
Students must be registered in our 2024-25 Season.
It is highly recommended to be registered in our Summer Intensive, as Assistant Teachers need the most dance training and proficiency in order to be considered for our staff.

SESSION #1
JULY 8 - 12
9:30am - 1:00pm
FEE $275 + GST

SESSION #2
AUGUST 12 to 16
9:30am - 1:00pm
FEE $275 + GST

Applications accepted up to June 30, 2024.
Space is limited so NO REFUNDS after July 5, 2024.

How to apply:

Students must apply to be accepted to this program by submitting an email to the director with the following information:

  • Reason for interest in the program

  • Any experience working with children (experience not required)

  • Skills they have that would make them a good teaching assistant
