SYTYCD Guest Choreographers for Pulse Summer Dance Convention.

Vincent Noiseux and Kim Gingras at our studios to choreograph a dance on our dancers entered at the Pulse Summer Dance Convention in New York City July 21-25

Vincent Noiseux and Kim Gingras came in to set an original street jazz/hip hop fusion dance they choreographed for us with our own Lindsay Nelko. They were here for an intense 8 hour day of rehearsals with 13 of our students aged 11 -23. These students are going to New York City in July to participate in the Summer Pulse Dance Convention with faculty from SYTYCD USA as well as guest teachers from Broadway. They will be performing this dance for the Pulse faculty there, including Mia Michaels, Brian Freedman, Tyce Diorio, Wade Robson etc.

Kim and Vincent both placed in the top 8 on Canada’s So You Think You Can Dance hit TV show. They are also part of Blueprint Crew which placed 2nd on the Hit TV show America’s Best Dance Crew in 2010. Vincent came to teach workshops at our school in 2009 and Kim in 2010, as part of our exclusive SYTYCD workshops. (check out the photos in our Gallery page). It was very exciting and inspiring for our dancers to work so closely with these dance professionals, whose careers are taking off. Kim and Vincent made a point of telling the group how impressed they were with our professional work ethic and positive attitude! Congratulations dancers on a wonderful learning experience and in representing our school and yourselves so well. The group continues to rehearsal with Lindsay to perfect the piece until they perform it in New York. Check back for more photos and info later this summer!
